The operating frequency range (bandwidth) of the antenna

Whether it is a transmitting antenna or a receiving antenna, they always work within a certain frequency range (frequency bandwidth). There are two different definitions for the frequency bandwidth of an antenna——
1. The working frequency bandwidth of the antenna under the condition that the SWR ≤ 1.5;
2.The bandwidth within 3 dB of antenna gain reduction.
In mobile communication systems, it is usually defined according to the former definition. Specifically, the frequency bandwidth of the antenna is the operating frequency range of the antenna when the SWR of the antenna does not exceed 1.5.
Generally speaking, at each frequency point within the working frequency bandwidth, the antenna performance is different, but the performance degradation caused by this difference is acceptable.
